Files and terminal

Your data is files you can open.

Every project is a folder: its compose file, configuration and data. Browse, upload and edit it from the browser, or open a shell in any running container.

Open source, MIT licensed · Runs on any Linux server with Docker

Sound familiar?

Named volumes hide your data where only Docker can find it.

Backing up, moving or inspecting an app should not start with docker volume inspect. FlatRun keeps data in bind mounts beside the compose file.

How it works

Three steps, on a server you control.

  1. 01

    Browse the folder

See the host side or the container side of a project, with sizes and dates.

  2. 02

    Change files

Upload a file or a folder, create and edit files, then restart the service.

  3. 03

    Open a shell

Pick a service and connect a terminal to it, without SSH access to the server.

Terminal

Before you get started.

Can I copy a project to another server?

Yes. Copy the folder and run docker compose up. Nothing lives outside it.
